Maligano Jasper is created when a stone breaks and is then cemented back together by a different mineral, in this case, a greyish agate, which fills the cracks with veins of color. This process creates a beautiful brecciated pattern with multiple colors of blue, red, orange, yellow, grey, and beige, and sometimes includes dendrites that look like ferns or branches.
